I created GrumbleBee as a passion project turned side business to design and sell art prints for both kids and adults. My goal was to create tools that change the conversation around mental health.
For a long time, the cultural mindset around big feelings, from anxiety and worry to loss, was simply to "be resilient" and move on. That approach left many of us navigating intense emotions without the language or tools to understand them. Now, as a parent watching my own children navigate their worries, I am determined to give them the vocabulary and permission to express themselves.
I design every GrumbleBee print to help build a foundation of emotional honesty. They provide the visual cues and validation needed to talk about the messy stuff every single day, while adding a much needed sprinkle of joy along the way.
